Privacy Policy

This policy explains what The Field Leader (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit thefieldleader.com or join the newsletter waitlist, and what we do with it.

What we collect

Newsletter waitlist. We don’t have a newsletter yet. If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, and your name if you give it. We use it only to tell you when the newsletter launches. We won’t email you before then. When we do, every email will include an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.

Your theme choice. If you switch between dark and light mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Server logs. Like most websites, our servers and our content delivery provider, Cloudflare, process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose problems.

Analytics. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host ourselves, to count page views and see which pages and referring sites bring visitors. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect your name or email. It respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting.

What we don’t do. This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers, and it loads its fonts from our own server rather than a third party.

Who handles your data

The waitlist is run on our own infrastructure. Cloudflare delivers the site and may set strictly necessary security cookies. We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it or, after launch, unsubscribe. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to remove you from the waitlist at any time. You can also email us to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA, and we will honor valid requests.

Children

This site is written for working sales managers and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
